It has been quite a day.
Mondays are always a lazy day for me.
I was sitting at the computer, when the phone rang. When I answered, it was Aunt Joan. She had the sad news that Aunt Phyllis had passed away on Sunday. That leaves Aunt Joan and Aunt Janet out of the six.
It brought back memories of the passing of Ray, Red, and Vera.
I had not seen Phyllis since we were at Barbara"s after Aunt Vera's funeral.
We never know when it will happen to us, so we need to be ready to go. And I mean to be right with the Lord.
I know there will be a lot of grieving at the funeral home.
I don't really feel like going, but I have to pay my respects.
I remember Aunt Phyllis coming up to me at your Dad's funeral and she put her arms around me and said, "I love you." I think it was her way of saying "I,m sorry," for all the things that happened years ago.
I guess I better go. It is late.
